We propose the task of local state marking (LSM), where some multipartite quantum states chosen randomly from a known set are distributed among spatially separated parties without revealing identities individual states. The collaborative aim is to correctly mark under restriction that they can perform only operations (LO) on their respective subsystems and communicate with each other classically (CC) -- popularly as operational paradigm LOCC.
